Start a Light Day With IDO's Fermented Tangerine peel and Lonicera flower Tea.

Flowery Slimness Tea, IDO's delicate fermented tea

made of organic tangerine peel and lonicera flower.”

Colder weather calls for warmer tea. I’ve been having fun experimenting with Korean traditional tea every morning.

Drinking tea in the morning makes me feel comfortable and light.

Normally I am not a huge fan of fermented teas as all-day teas because they are often heavy bodied with an overpowering aroma. However, this one has little to no tannin taste and has pleasant aroma- possibly due to Tangerine peel and Lonicera flower in it.

Not to mention how perfect this tea is to drink in the morning with an empty stomach, with or after meals.

Come to think of it, I've been drinking fermented tea almost the entire day. How is tea so addicting!

My recent favs-the name of this tea is "Flowery Slimness Tea" is made by IDO TEA, famous for their fermented teas.

It is a premium tea made of ingredients carefully selected by Dr. Cho from IDO oriental medicine clinic.

The tea is perfect for me who basically drinks tea and coffee all day long and frankly, people of all ages because it’s caffeine free.

There are a total of 20 tea bags in one pouch.

One tea bag is 1.2g.

Even with a small amount, the tea brews fast.

It turns into a dark golden colour, and it is so pretty!

Since It brews so well, I use a tea kettle or a big mug instead of a teacup or coffee cup.

The scent and taste are well maintained even after brewing for two or three times.

IDO's fermented tea’s taste has a unique aroma that comes from the fermentation process.

It has a soft yet bittersweet taste similar to that of oolong tea and has a sour citrus-y scent.

if you leave in the tea bags, you can enjoy the acidity,

In that case, the taste of the first and last sip changes so you can enjoy it in various ways.

I usually remove the tea bag once it's steepeds but I’ve been leaving the tea bag in for this one. It doesn’t taste bitter even after steeping for a long time.

The tea brews well enough to drink it as an iced tea as well.

If you are a team icedtea, I recommend drinking this as iced tea.

The aroma decreases a little when steeped cold, but it tastes more earthy/toasty.

Isn’t the color really deep? .

I wondered why it brews so well even though it’s just a small amount until I realized that it’s due to the thorough and careful fermentation process.

During the fermentation process, the ingredients' strong qualities become soft and delicate.

The sweet refreshment served with the fermented tea makes me feel happy.

It feels like my mind and body are cleaned and lightened!

This is why we need to have tea time.

I can concentrate better when I drink tea and relax my mind and body.

When I drink tea early in the morning, I feel comfortable in my stomach too..

You will get why it's called a tea for a light day once you try it for yourself.

Huge fan of classy yet luxurious combination of  acidity and tannin!

Keep in mind that these ingredients are not just chosen for taste.

The two fermented ingredients, tangerine peel and Lonicera flower, are complemented by one another.
