Fermented gastrodia root tea is made with gastrodia root that is also known as 定風草,
and a filamentous fungus solid fermented to make this genuine tea

Today, people are feeling tired and sore due to wrong eating habits,

IDO uses only domestically grown gastrodia root that
is collected in Sangju and Bonghwa City, transformed it into the tea by steaming,
drying, fermenting and aging them to be consumed even by children.

1. After grinding  Gastrodia Root

We use only Gyeongbuk Sangju City's environment friendly gastrodia root product that are grown in higher grounds. We repeatedly washes gastrodia root's tuber, which is parasitic plant, and grind them into right sizes.
Gastrodia root is entirely different plant from Andong City's yam, usually we mix it with other oriental medicinal ingredients and boil them due to its bad taste to be eaten raw.

2. After fermenting Gastrodia Root

Repeating the steaming and drying process, than applies microorganism, than it goes through scientific and hygienic fermentation process.
In the fermentation process, it's scent is marvelous, the natural process of microorganism's vitality, temperature and moistures perfect harmony...
Through enzyme process that softens and divides gastrodia root's many effective components evenly, the spicy and raw taste decreases while sweetness increases to be consumed better.

3. Fermented Gastrodia Root after aging and far-infrared ray pan firing is done.

Fermented gastrodia root tea is made with fermented gastrodia root that is re-aged and well pan fired with far-infrared ray just like making red ginseng.

The secret of deep taste and scent, just with 1 gram of product.
We put so much hard effort and clean procedures, gastrodia root's positive sides are emphasized, softer, more mature fermented tea with elegance is produced.

Gastrodia root is types of orchid, parasitic plant, and regarded as very precious medicinal stuff since naturally grown gastrodia root was very rare, however recent scientific research found ways to imitate natural environment for gastrodia root to grow, so that we can taste this good medicinal ingredient easier than before. Gastrodia root is cultivated in Sangju and Mungyeong City, and regarded as rare medicinal ingredient in folk remedies and 'Donguibogam', and is popular tea for elders in IDO with fermented bamboo tea and fermented polygoni root tea.

The changed eating habits and lifestyle of modern children are calling for these 3 types of tea, instead of ChongMyoungTang(to help you study better). This tea is with pleasant taste and gastrodia root's attractive components are added in.

Gastrodia Root 100% (Korean)

Gastrodia root is parasitic plant that is very difficult to grow. Korea is well known for its world famous quality and unique techniques cultivate them.
In 'Donguibogam', it applauds gastrodia root's variety usage and called it as the wild ginseng for brain.
Because of mixed taste of sweet, spicy, acrid, raw and bitterness, it is hard to eat as raw, and it is very hard to extract main component and make it tasty just with general procedures.
Gastrodia root's such taste is reborn as tasty, soft and elegant fermented tea with Ido's special fermentation process.
